So, the question for today is, Should I do a detox diet? Honestly, definitely not.
Right now there is no compelling evidence to support the use of detox diets for weight management or toxin elimination.
This includes but is not limited to:
Considering the financial costs to consumers, unsubstantiated claims and potential health risks of detach products, they should be actively discouraged by all health professionals and subject to independent regulatory review and monitoring.
If your trainer, or someone you know is attempting to talk you into them please politely refuse and send them my way.
